This summer (2025), I'm working with Professor Rodrigues at the 20C Text Lab at Grinnell to benchmark OCR-mLLM post-correction for 20th century historical texts. In addition to this, I'm also studying for my AWS Solutions Architect Exam which I plan to give in August/September 2025 . Since January 2025, I've been the lead developer and maintainer of PioneerMart, an online marketplace officially available to the Grinnell community as of May 2025 (300+ active users). Last summer & fall semester (2024), I worked as a Research Assistant at the ELBICA Lab at Grinnell under Dr. Fernanda Eliott. During my time at the lab, I explored distributed representations in AI and multi-modal data for causal inference. The summer before that (2023), I was an intern at 10Pearls, Pakistan where I worked as a full-stack engineering intern on a fitness tracking application. I have also been a Teaching Assistant for courses in Java & Racket. During the school semester in addition to maintaining my app and schoolwork, I work as a student mentor at DASIL (Data Analysis & Social Inquiry Lab) and the ITS Services Desk at Grinnell.

I'm currently a rising senior at Grinnell College graduating in May 2026. I hope to major in Computer Science & minor in Statistics. I'm also the president of the Muslim Student Association (MSA) and the Pakistani Student Organization (PSO) at Grinnell. Through my work in these student organizations, I help allocate organizational resources, plan regular events, and advocate for students on campus.

In my free time love going to the gym, watching movies/TV shows, and cycling. Ever since I moved off-campus, I've started cooking a whole lot which might turn into a new hobby :)
